Philippines’ First Haikyu!! Activation to Arrive at SM North EDSA

 SM North EDSA, with SM Fanverse, is set to thrill anime and volleyball patrons as it launches Animezing North featuring the Philippines’ first Haikyu!! activation! From today through 30 June 2024, fans can experience the courtside atmosphere through character photo spots, show off their fandom through exclusive apparel, and get their hands on sought-after official Haikyu!! merchandise. With Haikyu!!: The Dumpster Battle entering its 5th week of screening, fans will surely feel the passion and prowess of their favorite Haikyu!! volleyball players!

Step into the Haikyu!! activation at The Block Atrium in SM North EDSA and find yourself in the midst of a volleyball tournament, with players from Karasuno High and Nekoma High, as well as Aoba Johsai High, Inarizaki High, and Fukurodani Gakuen High.

Fans can find standees of Shoyo Hinata, Tobio Kageyama, Kei Tsukishima, Tadashi Yamaguchi, Yu Nishinoya, Ryunosuke Tanaka, Asahi Azumane, Koshi Sugawara, and Daichi Sawamura from Karasuno High, as well as several fan favorites including Nekoma High with Kenma Kozume and Tetsuro Kuroo, Aoba Johsai High with Toru Oikawa and Hajime Iwaizumi, Inarizaki High with Atsumu and Osamu Miya, and Fukurodani Gakuen High with Kotaro Bokuto and Keiji Akaashi.

Written by Haruichi Furudate, Haikyu!! (Weekly Shonen Jump,Shueisha)was serialized in 2012. The manga centers around a group of passionate high school volleyball players. With vivid characterization and a delicate portrayal of emotions, the manga quickly became a sensation. The series ended in July 2020, collecting its chapters in 45 volumes, and has sold over 60 million copies worldwide. An anime television series aired on MBS and TBS Networks  from 2014 until December 2020 for a total of four seasons.
